The word “impossible” does not exist in Lauren Spalding’s vocabulary.
This water wahine has won the Moloka’i to O’ahu solo championship 12 times and holds the seven fastest times ever achieved by a female. She is a 3-time winner of the Moloka’i World Surfski Championships and won first place in the Pan American Games K-4 race. In 2004, she represented team USA in the Olympics in Greece.
With this many championships under her belt, Lauren is one of the best to ever battle the open waves.
